More About Blog Author, Jeff Maziarek and Pondercentral, PONDER on THIS and Spirituality Simplified
I am an inspirational speaker and author [pictured with my wife and love of my life, Andrea (Andi)]. My first book, Spirituality Simplified, is an easy-to-understand and entertaining work that provides an ideal starting point for anyone with a sincere desire to pursue a path of personal and/or spiritual growth. My spiritual growth philosophy is based upon the works of many of today’s most respected personal/spiritual growth authors, including Alan Cohen, Deepak Chopra, Anthony DeMello, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, Paul Ferrini, Louise Hay, Dan Millman, Eckhart Tolle, Neale Donald Walsch, Marianne Williamson and Stuart Wilde. It is rooted in the concept that each individual is personally responsible for creating the entire substance of their lives.
While I initially began reading spiritual/personal growth books in the latter part of the 1980s, what really catapulted me on the path of self-discovery was a business failure I experienced in 1991. This experience caused a significant emotional and financial setback for me, and ultimately resulted in my reaching the lowest point in my life. It was at this juncture where I had critical choice, to remain focused on the so-called unfairness of what happened, or to shift to a more empowering stance by taking responsibility for attracting these circumstances to myself.Due primarily to what I had learned from those early books I’d read, the latter choice was clearly the only option for me to take. So, from that point on I became an avid reader of any content related to the path of self-discovery that managed to catch my eye. Ultimately, a dear friend of mine, Betty Hoeffner, recommended that I follow a passion I had to share content from a host of authors whose work had benefited me personally. It was at this point that Pondercentral and PONDER on THIS came into being, and now more than eight years later the service continues to provide inspiration to people, while at the same time connecting them with the works of numerous authors they might not otherwise would have discovered.

A spiritual traveler sat at the bottom of a mountain as the wind blew the tops of pine trees over a hundred years old. He was looking into the ancient distance with a great weight of knowledge and a pain from his soul that radiated out through his eyes. A great and wise friend he had known for all his life came walking up to him saying, "You look troubled."
The spiritual travel replied, "In a burst of higher consciousness I have just reached the glimpse of my enlightenment yet at the same time I have been shown the ancient journey of humanity and its possible futures. I have been shown one possibility that we will wreak havoc upon each other unless we remember our enlightened birthrights. We MUST DO something or so much will be lost. We must tell people of this enlightened path."
His wise friend asked, "What if it is not the path for another soul or what if they cannot understand your path like you do?"
The spiritual travel replied,"Then I will show the enlightened found by others from many spiritual roads, in the hopes it will help them remember their own spiritual path. I will simply draw a map and trust in the birthright of unlimited divine power within each soul."
The good friend helped the spiritual traveler up and started walking on a well worn path through the forest as the spiritual traveler said, "I will trust humanity will find a way to record their wisdom on a medium that will weather the ages of time and one day this information will be able to travel across the world in the blink of an eye."
And so it was in our ancient past that as humanity grew men and women wrote the truth of their spiritual paths and a soul found a medium to share these spiritual paths all around the world in the blink of an eye--the world wide web for souls to ponder on.
