PONDER on THIS for Monday, February 4th, by Shirley MacLaine in SAGE-ING WHILE AGE-ING

"It is clear that we are killing one another over religion. It is high time we tried spirituality, which I believe religion was intended to be in the first place. I believe we are the repository of a vast body of knowledge that even supersedes our ability to cope with it. That is why so much of it is ridiculed and mocked. But a flat world was easier to cope with than a round one. It was easier to cope with our one world which the sun revolved around alone in the universe than what seems to be slowly transpiring as multi-specied world universes which revolve around billions of suns. It is time we wake up to the knowledge we've forgotten we possess and understand that each of us has a function in a gazillion-person band of spirits."
