PONDER on THIS for Wednesday, February 6th, by by Alan Cohen, in WHY YOUR LIFE SUCKS AND WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT
"Continuing to go back and forth after you've made a decision is even more excruciating than saying yes while meaning no. If you have already said yes, then go with it, and do the same for no. Often it does not matter what you decide; it just matters that you do decide. The universe will rally around any decision you make; be sure you are rallying with it. Your decisions are honorable because they are your own. You can make any decision work if you believe in it. If the results of your decisions suck, you may not have made bad decisions; you might just be doubting yourself. You are either criticizing your choice now or you did not heed your inner voice when you first chose. Second-guessing yourself is a sort of postpartum procrastination. If you sit in the middle of the road, you will get hit by traffic moving in both directions. Quit mind-screwing yourself and give your creations the support they deserve."
