PONDER on THIS for Monday, February 18th 2008, by Stuart Wilde in AFFIRMATIONS
"Having dedication is saying, 'I am the power within. There is nothing I cannot do. There is no one to stand in my way. I am free and I will never quit. If it takes me 40 years, I will be there. Carnegie Hall, the Royal Opera House—whatever. The fact that I cannot sing a note and that I sound like a frog in a bag is just an illusion. I will take lessons. I will be the greatest 94-year-old opera singer in the world, even if I have to live to be a hundred to achieve it.'...Many quit just before they hit the jackpot. Then they complain that the Universal Law does not provide for them, which is a bunch of rubbish. If you don't have what you want, it means that you are still on the journey. You might be close to the goal, yet being close to the best restaurant is not dinner. You have to press on to that final glorious conclusion."
