PONDER on THIS for Friday, December 19th, 2008 by Pete Koerner in THE BELIEF FORMULA
“We have all heard of the idea of writing things down in order to have them come to pass. Grocery lists, to-do lists, memos, wish lists, gift registries, letters to Santa, and other reminders make sure we follow through with our desires, or that our desires are communicated to others – sort of “written prayers.” Plans, blueprints, recipes, and driving directions, likewise, offer guidance to others as an unseen idea is transformed from thought to thing. Besides the obvious fact that just any old ingredients, combined in just any old way, won’t necessarily produce the results you seek; writing down your desires allows others to participate in ways that, ideally, will complement, or speed the manifestation of, your desire. Writing a thing down turns an invisible, non-physical thing into a physical thing others can see and act on.”
