PONDER on THIS for Sunday, January 25th, 2008 by Gloria Wendroff in HEAVENLETTERS

"When you wake in the morning, say to yourself: "God is looking out for me right now. God is always looking out for me." During the day remember those words, and let them run through you. When you go to bed at night, rest in those words. Let them be the blanket that covers you. Let them tuck you in. Take those words and you will benefit from them more than any sleeping pill. The reminder that I have your best interest at heart is multi-vitamin - and mineral too.

When you go to bed at night, yes, remember that you are going to bed for more than sleep. You are going to bed to rest in My arms. What else can you do but that when you lay your head down at night? Those who have a hard time going to sleep may be fearing their thoughts, so substitute the ones I give you. The fear of what thoughts may come to you rests on the deeper fear of letting go of supposed control. Letting go of control is the same as resting in My arms. It is nothing more than that. Why would anyone be afraid or hesitate to rest in My arms of love? And remember that when you awake, you are still in the arms of love."
