PONDER on THIS for Wednesday, February 18th, 2009 by Alan Cohen in WHY YOUR LIFE SUCKS AND WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT
"Saying no to what you do want is the same as saying yes to what you don't want. It is a sellout. Whenever you do not honor your inner truth, you get jumbled up inside until you go back and express the truth you stifled.
We deny our desires for dysfunctional reasons: guilt; a sense of unworthiness; fear of success; desire to appear unselfish; resistance to move beyond a familiar self-image or lifestyle; self-sabotage; and peer or family pressure. Don't waste a moment analyzing or justifying your motivation. If your heart pulls you in a direction, heed its joy as soon as you know it. Life is unlimited in its ability to support you. When you become unlimited in your willingness to support yourself, you will receive all that life has to offer."
