PONDER on THIS for Monday, March 2nd, 2009 by Karol K. Truman in FEELINGS BURIED ALIVE NEVER DIE
"Mainstream thinking has purported that to become single-minded a person needs to change the way he FEELS by changing the way he THINKS. It is possible to change the way we FEEL by changing the way we THINK. However, before we can do this, our perception of a situation, our feeling, or our belief must change before our thinking can change...
Conversely, changing the way we THINK by changing the way we FEEL is faster, much more effective, and further reaching. In our beginnings as a baby, FEELINGS came first when we had no way of expressing what we needed or wanted through words. The feelings we experienced during infancy and throughout our childhood which we were unable to express, are well established, longstanding feelings which naturally registered in the DNA and the subconscious part of our mind/body. These feelings are what now cause us to think and react in life the way we do. In other words, these feelings have helped create the beliefs and attitudes that motivate our everyday behavior and give us the effects in life that we experience. Bottom line - feelings are what make use tick!"
