PONDER on THIS for Friday, June 12th, 2009 by Pete Koerner in THE BELIEF FORMULA
“The potential for the truth to show through, and transcend political and religious belief systems, is a frightening proposition for those who would seek to control others. It doesn’t matter what you believe in; belief is the true power to make things happen – and anyone can wield it.
It is only natural that after thousands of years of enculturation, and of having those in positions of power directing us as to what to believe, and how to proceed from day-to-day, that we would have lost sight of the truth of this power. The truth is that all men truly are equals and have equal access to this unlimited power. Some use this power to do evil, some use it for good, others simply don’t use it at all (though it is constantly at work), and still others will try and take control of this power by convincing the weak or ignorant that they are to surrender theirs.
The only difference between a powerful man and a weak man is not in the man, but in the man’s awareness of, and ability to use, this power we are each born with.”
