PONDER on THIS for Friday, August 21st, 2009 by Pete Koerner in THE BELIEF FORMULA
“We all have a story. We all want to love and be loved; though some were not taught, or cannot remember how. Each child loves its mother; and every mother loves her child. We all believe in different things; but we all believe what we believe. We all came from somewhere; yet none of us knows where that is. None of us likes pain; but some seem to enjoy suffering. And we all want whatever we want – even if that is nothing.
If we stop and think, we might realize that we are all experiencing the same things in different ways; and we are saying the same things in different languages. We are all thinking, and seeking our desires. Some understand how to believe in their dreams (like the Wright Brothers, etc…); and some do not. Perhaps we should stop arguing over which language and stories are the “right” ones and start learning about who we are and how to think of, and believe in, those things we truly desire or wish to experience.”
