PONDER on THIS for Thursday, March 4th, 2010 by Terry Cole-Whittaker in LIVE YOUR BLISS
"Believing that we lack beauty, intelligence, social position, wealth, and talent, that we are not as good as others, is painful and grossly limiting and it’s not true…Making our life’s purpose about proving our worth as a person is pathetic and a waste of our precious opportunity as a human being. Our endeavors to prove that we are good enough, or even better than others, only serve to invalidate our value in our own minds, because no matter what we do, we will still feel unworthy until we understand the lie and give it up by realizing our perfection as godlike souls. When our core belief is “I am not enough,” this becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Just drop it.
Affirm: I am enough and have always been enough. Dropping the concept "I am not good enough to be loved and approved of or to prosper" involves dropping our concern about what anyone, including our parents, children, and mate, thinks of us."
