NOTE: A subscriber wrote today to point out that there appeared to be a mistake in the second paragraph of today’s message. Below I’ve highlighted the correction. Thank you to John Bishop for the head’s up on this.

PONDER on THIS for Thursday, May 5th, 2011 by Terry Cole-Whittaker in LIVE YOUR BLISS

“The mind is an altar on which we place and worship thoughts and images. Whatever gets placed on this altar gets our attention and motivates us to act in service to the thought or image. Unless we know the difference between what is true and what is false, we will place our fears on this altar, will believe and act on them, and in doing so, we will manifest the very situations we are afraid of.

We are constantly bombarded with thoughts, images, sounds, subliminal communications, and energy waves of every kind. The ones we accept, believe, and act on function as magnets, drawing to us their vibrational equivalent in people, events, things, and circumstances. Our own stores of information, whether accurate or not, flood our conscious minds with thoughts and concepts unless we control our minds by keeping them peaceful, so that we can use them to receive the spiritual thoughts and guidance. By placing the tool of the mind in its right location, in the spiritual zone, it becomes our good friend.”
