BEST of PONDER on THIS for Monday, September 12th, 2016 B by Michael Tamura in YOU ARE THE ANSWER

“You may not have enough actual food to feed everyone in the world but you certainly have some form of nourishment to share with each person you meet. You may be much more capable of nourishing another’s soul hunger than cooking up a bowl of soup, or you may be able to do both. You may be naturally inclined to tend to the emotional needs of others rather than explain everything to the fulfillment of their intellect.

Even if you cannot readily provide physical shelter to others, you may have ample emotional shelter of your trust and reassurance to offer them. You can cover a naked person with the shirt off your back or you can give much needed support to one who has just experienced humiliation and is feeling totally exposed. You may be able to bring hope to a prison inmate or you may have the tools to help liberate people who are stuck in the prison of their habits, relationships or jobs. When you don’t have money to share, you might have the time. Every day, Life within each of us experiences some from of hunger, thirst, alienation, exposure, illness or incarceration. Surely, we can each find one way or another to share our abundance with life.”
