BEST of PONDER on THIS for Friday, March 17th, 2017 by Karol K. Truman in HEALING FEELINGS FROM YOUR HEART

Compiler’s Note: Tomorrow marks the 18th anniversary of the start of the “Ponder on This” message service. Amazingly, some of the first subscribers are still on the list, and while many others have come and gone there continues to be a core group of followers. As I’ve noted before, the service will run through this year, and beyond that we’ll see what happens.

“It may help to remember that forgiveness does not mean you condone what someone did. They remain accountable for their deeds, as do we all. Therefore, forgiving does not mean that we are saying what they did was okay. This misconception is often the stumbling block to forgiving for most of us, and particularly those who have suffered abuse.”

“The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right place, but to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.”

Dorothy Nevill

“Being an optimist after you’ve got everything you want doesn’t count.”

Kim Hubbard

Jeff MJeff Maziarek, author of Spirituality Simplified and Codi’s Journey, launched in April 2007 as a Web-based forum for “PONDER on THIS,” a series of weekday inspirational email messages he began sending to subscribers in March 1999. A FREE service since its inception, “PONDER on THIS” provides subscribers with meaningful content to assist them on their individual paths of spiritual growth. In addition, it benefits subscribers, authors, and publishers by including links to where subscribers can learn more about the book being quoted, and also purchase it.
