BEST of PONDER on THIS for Monday, March 19th, 2018 by Florence Scovel Shinn in THE SECRET DOOR TO SUCCESS

Compiler’s Note: Yesterday March 18, marked the 19th year anniversary of “Ponder on This.” Amazingly, many of the original subscribers are still on the list, and while the list has shrunk over the years for whatever reason, we still have a few hundred folks receiving the message each weekday. Thanks for continuing to be part of the community. As I indicated previously, my intention is to continue the service through March 18, 2019 to make it a full 20 years.

“Faith is expectancy. “According to your faith, be it done unto you.” We might say, according to your expectancies be it done unto you; so, what are you expecting? We hear people say: “We expect the worst to happen,” or “The worst is yet to come.” They are deliberately inviting the worst to come. We hear others say: “I expect a change for the better.” They are inviting better conditions into their lives. Change your expectancies and you change your conditions.

How can you change your expectancies, when you have formed the habit of expecting loss, lack or failure? Begin to act as if you EXPECTED success, happiness and abundance; PREPARE FOR YOUR GOOD. DO something to show you expect it to come. Active faith alone will impress the subconscious.”

Jeff MJeff Maziarek, author of Spirituality Simplified and Codi’s Journey, launched Pondercentral.com in April 2007 as a Web-based forum for “PONDER on THIS,” a series of weekday inspirational email messages he began sending to subscribers in March 1999. A FREE service since its inception, “PONDER on THIS” provides subscribers with meaningful content to assist them on their individual paths of spiritual growth. In addition, it benefits subscribers, authors, and publishers by including links to Amazon.com where subscribers can learn more about the book being quoted, and also purchase it.
