“Most of us feel that responsibility is a heavy burden, when in fact the opposite is true. The more responsible you become, the less of a load you have to carry. Responsibility proves that results speak for themselves. Most of us have no idea what our responsibility reserves can do – because we shy away from anything that smacks of being responsible.

Here is a surefire way to see responsibility as a blessing and not a burden. For one day, be responsible for the results you create. Be honest, trusting, and caring, and stand upright with integrity. The simple statement, “I‘m responsible” – whether the outcome is positive or negative – will set you free. If you are still blaming someone else for your life and you are older than, say, a third-grader, it’s time to do some major internal excavation – or just continue the course you are on…If you really want to blame someone for the way your life is, buy a mirror. You might not be responsible for the event that allowed you to be a victim, but you are totally in control of your response-ability.”
