Will Murtha: Do all animals really have emotions like some scientists say they do?
Voice of Higher Presence: Please. Have you not ever looked into the eyes of your pet dog and not felt deep emotions of love and friendship? Have you not stared into the eyes of a horse and felt something substantially deeper and more profound? Of course, animals have emotions. Many are more emotionally attuned than their human counterparts. That is because animals live on their natural instincts. They live by their truth.
Will Murtha: If I am not mistaken, you have implied that emotion lives on in all living matter. I’m confused. How can a tree in my back garden be full of emotion?
Voice of Higher Presence: If you stay rooted to your old ways of viewing the world, then yes, this does sound almost preposterous, doesn’t it? If you continue to restrain your beliefs, then I can understand why this concept would sound so alien to you. But let me assure you, it is most certainly not. Scientists are only recently beginning to discover that the very same matter that constitutes a tree is also the very same matter that is evident in human beings. We are made up of the same stuff, only in a wildly different combination. Have I not said before that all living matter contains the energy of life force? And have I not intimated that this energy is constantly dancing in and out of all life?”
