BEST of PONDER on THIS for Monday, February 1st, 2021 by William L. Murtha in DYING FOR A CHANGE

Will Murtha: Right, I get it. We are all creating, even if we don’t think we are creating.

Voice of Higher Presence: There, see, now you have it. You don’t realize that you are creating something because it’s not at the front of your mind. Most forms of creating are achieved in this way. Most of what we create in the world is actually done unconsciously, without us even being aware of what the consequences will be. If somebody shuts a door in your face without thinking, do you judge that person to be rude and obnoxious, or do you reach a more enlightened conclusion? Do you see that he or she is really unconscious and therefore unaware of the actions? Or do you criticize and condemn the person for the behavior?

Will Murtha: I get your point. People aren’t always necessarily rude on purpose. It may just be that they have something else on their minds.

Voice of Higher Presence: Very few people are rude and ignorant on purpose. I know this is hard to accept, especially if you are on the receiving end of a person’s ignorance. But look at the larger picture, and you will see that it is deep unconsciousness that creates what you may judge to be rude behavior. Many people have so many pressing issues and anxiety on their mind that they are often unconscious of what’s happening around them. You could also say that most accidents are created in the same way. They happen because a person’s mind is someplace else while the person’s body is in the here and now. And because the person is not fully concentrating on what he or she is doing, an accident occurs.”
