BEST of PONDER on THIS for Friday, March 6th, 2026 by Stuart Wilde in SIXTH SENSE

“As often as not, your intuition comes from subliminal information you’ve picked up about a situation as you’ve gone along. Subliminal, as you probably know, means “below the normal threshold of conscious awareness.” Day by day we pick up so much more information than we are consciously aware of. That subliminal information is stored in the subconscious. So if you have an intuitive feeling about a project, say, you may have gotten that from the people involved. They might have silently told you about their attitude – so that subliminal information is stacked within you from the business meeting you attended.

Later, your subconscious sorts out that hidden information, and in a quiet moment it pops into your mind as a hunch or a strange thought that doesn’t seem to connect to your current stream of thinking. You seem to know things that, logically, your intellect shouldn’t know. So intuition is accessing and retrieving information that is buried deep within. The way to enhance it is to constantly ask your subconscious to tell you what it knows that your intellect does doesn’t.”
