BEST of PONDER on THIS for Thursday, October 9th, 2008 by Stuart Wilde in INFINITE SELF

“Develop a psychology that works, and stay away from pomposity and arrogance and righteousness. Avoid as much as possible talking about your philosophy to other people. Don’t bother to try and win people over with your philosophy through personal arguments, and don’t bother to demonstrate it. What you keep to yourself has power; what you blab about yourself becomes less powerful. Now, it’s completely different if someone comes up and asks you something. Then you can tell them what you know. But don’t become a demonstrator of spiritual wonderfulness. Develop a philosophy that works, and any time a system doesn’t work, take a long hard look at what you believe. Bag it if it doesn’t work.”
