“For millennia, music and voice has been a way to move us. It exhilarates us, excites us, saddens us, and mellows us. It has a profound effect on the very way we function from moment to moment. If you think about it, we are actually a conglomeration of several systems that are vibrating at different rates and frequencies that somehow manage to communicate with each other fairly successfully.
This implies that everything around us vibrates in such a way that its atoms and molecules actually cohere to create one form or another. So one could say that our bodies are several systems, such as the nervous system, the vascular system, the respiratory system, and each are each vibrating and communicating is some way. So if this is so, we would hope that the way in which this happens would be harmonious, in harmony, to create a sense of wholeness and well-being as opposed to disharmony, creating a sense of dis-ease.
Wouldn’t it be great if we could find a way to actively create harmony at any given time? To recognize dis-harmony and bring ourselves back into a harmonious state and coherence? Using sound, this is very possible. By tuning into our bodies and senses, we can create a state of balance by simply toning into our systems. Even if you have never sung a single note, you can still literally hum yourself to wellness.”
