BEST of PONDER on THIS for Friday, July 22nd, 2022 by Nicolya Christi in 2012 A CLARION CALL

“When we are disconnected from God/Source, we are disconnected from ourselves and we experience suffering. Many of us have been raised to believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, which further alienates us from God, as we unconsciously battle with the collective guilt of two thousand years. Wars are waged in the name of God, misinterpretations of religion distort the path to God, and laws have been made that have nothing to do with God and everything to do with the manipulation and control of the masses.

Our current world culture is unconsciously addicted to suffering. We are weaned on it, we are educated by it, and we are raised in it. Suffering is all around us, no matter where we go or what we do. We are conditioned to believe that suffering is a natural human state and that we must therefore accept it. Most of what we see, hear, or speak of has suffering woven into it. Modern culture does not realize to what extent it is still immersed in suffering. Once we acknowledge the degree to which suffering permeates every level of existence here on this planet, we can consciously choose to remove ourselves from this perpetuating cycle.”
