PONDER on THIS for Friday, November 21st, 2008 by Pete Koerner in THE BELIEF FORMULA

“It is important that we learn and remember where it is our beliefs came from in the first place so we can keep ourselves out of this double-bind people often find themselves in. We are told, taught, or given our beliefs by other people – sometimes people we don’t even know. These beliefs rule our lives and are largely responsible for conscious decisions we make as well as unconscious decisions that are made for us by our subconscious mind.

If a part of you believes something that another part of you doesn’t, there is an internal conflict that projects itself outwardly as conflict, confusion, illness, negative emotions and situations, and dis-ease of all types, in your external world. The only thing worse than doing this to yourself, is when you tell the “white lie.” Pretending to believe something that the inner parts of you know to be a falsehood, or acting like you believe something you logically reject, will always bring you results you don’t really want – even if you think you do.”
