Obligation creates pain and lowers your energy, vitality and well being. Obligation is motivated by seeking approval from others. When you feel obligated to do things for your family members, you set an example to your children that it is their obligation, as well, to do thing for you and others. When you feel obligated to have sex with your partner, it can be very devastating to your own physical, mental and emotional well being. You have free will to say, “No.” Let go of any obligation you might feel towards yourself, your family, your friends, etc., and act with love and compassion. Know that your only obligation is to act on your inner guidance, which is inspired by love, compassion and joy.”
