BEST of PONDER on THIS for Wednesday, June 18th, 2014 by Stuart Wilde in INFINITE SELF

“If you’re dissatisfied, it’s like having a perpetual itch that you can’t scratch. You’ve got to make these current circumstances right. Roam around your house and say, “This is right.” At work, say, “This is right at this moment. Tomorrow it may change.” Wander mentally around your life, and make each and every situation right and holy. Tomorrow it may change, but right now it is perfect. The circumstances of your life are an external manifestation of your thoughts and feelings. You learn from them. Bless them for that; don’t fight them.

When you stop fighting yourself – when you can accept that the way it is, is the way it is, you’re free. Say that to yourself three or four times a day. “The way it is, is the way it is, I accept that.” You see, you don’t need perfection, just progress. Everything can be gradually changed for the better. Meanwhile, it is the way it is. Once you can come out of acceptance, you’re free, completely free, because you’re no longer in the emotion, fighting with yourself.”
