BEST of PONDER on THIS for Friday, February 13th, 2015 by Stuart Wilde in INFINITE SELF

“Be careful that you don’t get stuck in dogmatic perceptions of spirituality. Become the crooked tree. Stand at the back. Be silent. Don’t talk unless people ask you to. If you have perception, you can look at a person on the street and see their life story right there; don’t say anything. If you know the answer, keep quiet; don’t show it to people. If they ask you, give them a little bit, just enough to take them to the next step. But don’t dump ten tons of your wisdom upon them because it isn’t necessary, is it? A little bit here, and a little bit there, is all you have to do.

Be humble. People get a little bit of spirituality and then make a huge fuss over it. There’s nothing more off-putting than a person who doesn’t really know anything, trotting around like he or she is the sage on the mount.”
