PONDER on THIS for Tuesday, July 21st, by Eugenia Oganova in AWAKENING THE HARMONY WITHIN

“Vigilance about our habitual thinking is also an essential component of self-care. Remember that everything we are feeling is always based on a particular thought process which comes out of a particular belief. If one is unhappy, it is one’s responsibility to disengage from the external trigger for that unhappiness and search for the thoughts/beliefs which created it. I often hear people, overwhelmed with emotional reaction, say “but I am not thinking anything!” – that is just not true. The only reason one does not notice one’s thoughts in that moment is because these thoughts are so habitual that one sees them as an “unquestionable reality.”
