BEST of PONDER on THIS for Monday, September 23rd, 2019 by Pete Koerner in THE BELIEF FORMULA

“The fact is there is a mechanism through which prayer actions seem to be processed. This mechanism doesn’t require that you use the word “prayer,” or any form thereof; but it does require a certain mindset, as prayer (thought, meditation, contemplation, etc.) is a wholly mental activity. There are indeed conditions within which thought seems to manifests itself perfectly, and therefore conditions outside of which prayers will appear to go unanswered.

Realize that there are many things to consider within the simple act of prayer; and if your prayers aren’t getting answered to your satisfaction, you need only take a few moments to think about and try subtle variations to what you are probably already doing. This is important to each of us because we walk around thinking all day, and each of these thoughts are being acted on as if they are prayers.”
