BEST of PONDER on THIS for Thursday, December 27th, 2018 by Gary Zukav in THE SEAT OF THE SOUL

“What does it feel like to remember your soul’s task? When the deepest part of you becomes in engaged in what you are doing, when your activities and actions become gratifying and purposeful, when what you do serves both yourself and others, when you do not tire within but seek the sweet satisfaction of your life and your work, you are doing what you were meant to be doing. The personality that is engaged in the work of its soul is buoyant. It is not burdened with negativity. It does not fear. It experiences purposefulness and meaning. It delights in its work and in others. It is fulfilled and fulfilling.”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Wednesday, December 26th, 2018 by Sanaya Roman in SPIRITUAL GROWTH, BEING YOUR HIGHER SELF

“To create things more rapidly, focus on the essence of what something will give you rather than its form. For instance, if you want a new car or home, focus on what you want to get out of having them. You may want a new car to give you reliability and new home to give you more space, and so on. You can begin to create the essence of what you want right now. You can work with your existing car to make it more reliable; and perhaps you can clear out a corner of a room to create more space in your current home. By making your old car more reliable, you become more magnetic to a new, reliable car.

Ask what is the essence you expect to get from losing weight, having a new soul-mate, or whatever else you want. As you focus on the essence of what you want, you discover that there are many ways you can have the essence right now. When you bring the essence of what you want into your life, you become more magnetic to the specific form you want it to come in as well.”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Tuesday, December 25th, 2018 by Richard Bartlett in MATRIX ENERGETICS

Message from Pondercentral: To those who celebrate Christmas, best wishes to you for a very Merry Christmas.

“Every treatment in medicine, including most so-called natural alternatives, is reaction to a symptom or a condition. This symptom/treatment duality means that you have this condition (symptom), and I am going to prescribe treatment for that condition. It is a stimulus-response or behaviorist model at its core, largely extrapolated from laboratory studies on rats. But how many of you reading this think rat physiology and biochemistry are close enough to those of human beings that our medical health-care should be based on them?

One of the greatest problems that I have noticed in the treatment of symptoms from within this stimulus-response model is that anything you do in reaction to a condition tends to add energy into sustaining the unwanted state. If you address a condition by treating it, you devote more attention to its existence, thus validating its reality. When you do this you make the condition itself more linear, predictable, and ultimately more self-aware. That, I am sure, is exactly what we don’t want: for our conditions to be more self-aware.”

Richard Bartlett, D.C., N.D., in “Matrix Energetics”

Compiler’s Note: This is a fascinating book that effectively creates a paradigm shift in how we approach the entire concept of health and healing. Although parts of the book are highly metaphysical in nature, the author’s presentation of the content is not overly complex and his conversational writing style makes the work very entertaining.

“Our gift is free-will. This simply means that we can choose our thoughts; for you can not choose a feeling, or an action, without thinking first – or without choosing to think. Our only decision from one moment to the next is what thought to place our attention on. Focused, concentrated attention to our fondest wishes defines any prayer – and we all have the power to choose when and where to focus our attention.

Consider that when you pray, all you are doing is concentrating your thoughts for a brief period of time – usually to give thanks, and ask for help for yourself or someone else. What if you concentrated for more than a few moments? What if you chose to spend time thinking about what you wanted instead of the problems in your life? What if you could learn to not worry about things you cannot change or control? Choose better thoughts and your life will change for the better. All thought is prayer; all prayers are answered – so choose your thoughts wisely!”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Friday, December 21st, 2018 by Marianne Williamson in ILLUMINATA

“Religious institutions are not the only arbiters of religious experience. They do not own the Truth, for Truth cannot be owned. Nor should they think they hold some franchise on our spiritual life. They are consultants and frameworks, but they are not God Itself. We should not confuse the path with the destination.

It’s simplistic to think that many Americans turned away from organized religion and now we’re back, as though that’s the whole story. We turned away from religion, found that life without conscious awareness of God is difficult, and we’re now back to religion because that is, theoretically, where to find God. But we do not go back as the spiritually half-interested, complacent congregants that many of our parents were when we were growing up. We go back with an interest in actually HAVING a religious experience.

Organized religion will not be the same; it will step up to bat, religiously, or it will wither away. Organized religious institutions are in for a huge transformation, for the simple reason that people have become genuinely religious in spite of them.”

Marianne Williamson, in “Illuminata”

“You have a thought and a desire of something that you want or something that you believe, and as you emotionally place your attention on those thoughts, they activate all of your body, mind, and spirit to be in compliance. Energetically, at all times, you are thinking unconscious thoughts that are driving your wants and needs. Your thinking continues while awake or asleep. A belief is an idea about you and others, and about the world that creates the lens of your focus.

If you are thinking a limiting thought, then that is the only thought that may be made manifest as a reflection of you. If you are focused on a greater idea, then that idea must manifest instead.

When you have a thought, limited or expansive, and the desire for some good, or a fear of something bad, you are radiating that thought out into all dimensions of your being and in consciousness to the world. When you are radiating your thoughts with your emotional feelings about what you desire or fear, then those emotional thoughts reach every level of your being, from the DNA to your Source Mind.”

To learn about forgiving
It’s an inside job
To hang on to the JOY of living.”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Tuesday, December 18th, 2018 by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer in REAL MAGIC

“You are capable of having a conversation with yourself before you open your mouth to make someone else wrong. A simple reminder to yourself that goes like this: “I know how I feel about this and I know that it doesn’t match how she feels, but so what. It is enough that I know it in my mind, I have no need to make her feel wrong.” Then stifle yourself and you have created a miracle right there. You have replaced a potential conflict with a loving response. Remember, no one, including yourself, wants to be proven wrong. You know you dislike it, so honor that place in others as well, and give up the need to take the credit or to show how superior you are.”

“Prayer has always been a practical tool; you need only understand how to use it effectively, practically, and safely. Prayer is an inherent power of all humans. Prayer is our bridge between the invisible world and the formed world – between our desires and their manifestation. Though it appears that religions have rendered prayer all but useless, the fact is that no one can affect the value or effectiveness of prayer. Religions have simply taught us ineffective methods of praying which not only seem to produce less-than-hoped-for results, but also seem to have seriously undermined our ability to truly believe in anything.”

“Freedom is your birthright. It belongs to everyone. Now you may say, “I am not free in this or that area of my life. I am not free to quit my job, travel the world, or do what I want.” You are free – to the degree you BELIEVE yourself to be.

To create more freedom in your life, do not look at the areas in which you do not have freedom; look instead at the areas where you have created freedom. Perhaps you have the freedom to stay out late if you want, or the freedom to buy whatever food you want at the grocery store. To have more freedom look at what freedom you already claim as your right.”

“So how do we overcome our fear and doubts and truly begin to trust in the God-force?
From personal experience, the only way to learn to “let go and let God” is to practice doing so, moment-by-moment, one day at a time. You simply start by turning smaller problems or issues over to the God-Force (i.e., the Higher part of you) at the moment you encounter them.

For example, when you are about to meet with a person with whom you have historically had difficulties, try saying the following statement to yourself, “I call upon the God-Force to speak through me in this interaction, and I am grateful for the opportunity to see this individual anew, as the Divine creation they truly are.” If you say this statement with sincere feeling, you will notice that the nature of the interaction will be much improved, simply because you put your “little self” aside and allowed your “Higher Self” to come to the forefront.

You can apply this same approach to every challenging or annoying situation that you encounter (e.g., travel delays, weather events, minor aches and pains, and so on), and the results will be the same. They may not be instantaneous, but if you continue to turn things over to the Higher aspect of yourself, then ultimately whatever difficulties you have encountered will fade away. The key is that you must be genuine in your call for assistance, and also willing to see people and situations in a different light.”

“How can we work with the pain of judging? If we try to get rid of it by saying, “Oh, I shouldn’t be judging,” what is that? It’s just another judgment. Instead, acknowledge the judgment as it arises. Allow it to come and go. Sometimes it helps to give it a name. If your judgment reminds you of someone from the past try saying, “Thank you, Dad.” “I appreciate your opinion on that, Carol.” “Thanks for your opinion John.” Judgments are simply a prerecorded tape that plays through the mind over and over again. Try to have a sense of humor about your judgments – this will keep them in perspective relative to the rest of your life.”

“Many people in this world are somewhat paranoid, afraid that the world is out to get them. Actually, the world is out to get us, but not in the way we believe. There is a conspiracy (conspiracy means to “breathe together”) working behind the scenes of our life. But this conspiracy is not to hurt us; it is one of great love. God is out to do everything She can to make us happy. This conspiracy is always working, even in spite of our insane efforts to deny love’s presence.

Amazing as it might sound, we have unknowingly been involved in a counter-conspiracy to love. Many of us have been actively engaged in doing everything we can to avoid peace, shield healing from our hearts, and convince ourselves that hell is heaven. We are expert at finding fault with our gifts, sabotaging our success, and seeing the empty tenth of the glass instead of the nine parts that are full. But there is hope. The outcome is guaranteed: the conspiracy to love will succeed, basically because God is playing on that team (and He wrote the plot). Although the timing of our surrender to love is up to us, the final scene is certain: we will realize that the universe is a manifestation of love, and we are in God’s graceful keeping.”

“God works in mysterious ways; you will begin to see truth in clichés like this and in reminders of the simplicity of things. Where do you think the thoughts for catchy slogans and clichés come from, anyway? Where do you think recipes, or systems, for using the mind or building effective prayers, come from? How many things do you think happen outside of a God who is all things? People think, pray, and ask for answers to problems, like; “How can I convince someone to buy this thing I am selling?” Then they receive an inspiration: Oh! I know! I can say that 4-out-of-5 experts recommend this product and people will accept the recommendation from our implied authorities because they are programmed to.” Where do you think all of these thoughts come from?”

“Personal importance, or taking things personally, is the maximum expression of selfishness because we make the assumption that everything is about ‘me.’ During the period of our education, or our domestication, we learn to take everything personally. We think we are responsible for everything. Me, me, me, always me!

Nothing other people do is because of you. It is because of themselves. All people live in their own dream, in their own mind; they are in a completely different world from the one we live in. When we take something personally, we make the assumption that they know what is in our world, and we try to impose our world on their world.

Even when a situation seems so personal, even if others insult you directly, it has nothing to do with you. What they say, what they do, and the opinions they give are according to the agreements they have in their own minds. Their point of view comes from all the programming they received during domestication.”
