“Our Continuous Comfort Zone (CCZ) will keep us from fulfilling the calling we set for ourselves long, long ago. You see, all of us have projects that we arranged and agreed to do here on Earth, and if we stay in our CCZ too long, we won’t be as apt to do the things we came here to do. Accordingly, the Highest Good will see to it that we are removed from places, relationships, and situations so that we can have something better.

The challenge with this is that we tend to think we want to stay where we are; we’re not always able to see around the corner to a time when things will be better because we left the place we were in. So the Universe will begin to make the places or relationships we’re in go stale or become uncomfortable…These are not the times to allow ourselves to get too attaches to our CCZs. The world is changing so fast that we must be ready to flow and to go where we are most needed. We each have amazing, life-changing experiences awaiting us; however, we cannot expect to avail ourselves of these gifts as long as we stay stuck in our CCZs.”

“What is clear thinking and how does one arrive at it? The first thing you must know is that it does not call for any great learning. It is so simple as to be within the reach of a ten-year-old child. What is needed is not learning but unlearning, not talent but courage. You will understand this if you think of a little child in the arms of an old, disfigured housemaid. The child is too young to have picked up the prejudices of its elders. So when it snuggles in that woman’s arms, it is responding not to labels in its head; labels like white woman, black woman, ugly, pretty, old, young, mother, servant maid, it is responding not to labels such as these, but to reality.

That woman meets the child’s need for love and that is the reality the child responds to, not the woman’s name and figure and religion and race and sect. Those are totally and absolutely irrelevant. The child has as yet no beliefs and no prejudices. This is the environment within which clear thinking can occur. And to achieve it one must drop everything one has learned and achieve the mind of the child that is innocent of past experiences and programming which so cloud our way of looking at reality.”

“So often we let life bump us off course. We set out on a path, and almost instantly our emotions distract us, or something happens and we drift off course. If you want things out of life, you will have to concentrate on them, and you have to go for what you want regardless of your current situation. If you concentrate on your goal and do not get distracted, you place an additional force at your disposal. For the power of will allows you to be moved into the right place at the right time. If you do not know what you want in life, you express that uncertainty into the Universal Law. And it – being impartial – expresses back to you the same feeling. The result is that nothing flows, and all your attempts to materialize your dreams fade or break up.

If you do not know what you truly want, then the best move is to begin to clear out all those things that you know you definitely no longer want – debilitating relationships, unhelpful habits, lack of action, and imbalance of one kind or another. Sooner or later what you want will become clear, and then you can head toward it. The Path of Power calls for a certain aggression, as does nature. The animal in the forest goes for what it wants, and in doing so it expends energy in getting its needs met. You should adopt the same style. Lock on to what you want, go for it no matter how long it takes, and you will have added concentration to your battery of techniques for self-improvement.”

Such is the nature of Divine convergence; the way in which the Divine places us, pushes us, prods us to be in the right place at the right time.

What is convergence? In earth reality, a coming together from different directions. In Universal reality, what happens when you find yourself in one place, and the other person finds him or herself in the exact same place, at the exact same time. It might not be another person, either. It might be an animal, or an idea, or a thought, or an experience. It might be the words of on the page of the book we suddenly reached for, without knowing why, high upon the shelf. And the answer we had been looking for all day was finally found in those words.
