PONDER on THIS for Wednesday, April 25th, 2007 by Rhonda Byrne in THE SECRET

“There is a big difference between giving and sacrificing. Giving from a heart that is overflowing feels so good. Sacrificing does not feel good. Don’t confuse the two—they are diametrically opposed. One emits a signal of lack and the other emits a signal of more-than-enough. One feels good and one does not feel good. Sacrifice will eventually lead to resentment. Giving from a full heart is one of the most joyous things you can do, and the law of attraction will grab hold of that signal and flood even more into your life. You can feel the difference.”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Tuesday, April 24th, 2007 by Alan Cohen in DARE TO BE YOURSELF

“If you want to get what you want, you have to tell the truth about what you want. We reach a certain point on our path where we cannot compromise, minimize or deny our heart’s desire. It is not humble to ask for less than you believe you deserve; it is arrogance. False humility is a ploy of the ego; when we act smaller than God created use to be, we deny the grandeur with which we are imbued. True humility is to become an open vessel into which the riches of the universe may be poured, and then overflowed to a waiting world.

The riches to which I refer are not just the material ones; the forms of this world at best remind us of our spiritual wealth. The real riches of life are love, joy, exuberance, delight, vision, and a life with heart. If you are not receiving all of these, as well as the material things you desire, you must stretch to tell a bigger truth about what you really want. Then turn your request over to the universe. If your request is right for you, you shall have it. If it is not right for you, believe me, you don’t want it.”

PONDER on THIS for Monday, April 23rd, 2007 by Wayne W. Dyer in “Wisdom of the Ages”

“This body of yours is like a curriculum in school, only this is your curriculum to God. This is your house of God, and it is in this body, while it is here on this planet, that God can be realized. To find anything about this house of God to be vile or disgusting is to sully the temple that is the one place in the universe where you know you can realize God.

No one can stop the process that is the ever-changing body. No one can alter the fundamental structure of the body. You live in something that has an invisible future pull, taking it where its nature will take it. Do not detest any part of it unless you wish to deny the wisdom that created you.

Treat your body like a guest who visits and then must leave. While it is here don’t neglect it, don’t poison it. Honor it, welcome it, and allow it to take its course which is ultimately to leave as it came, back to where it came from. Make it fun to watch your body go through its designated phases. Be in awe of every inch of it.”

PONDER on THIS for Friday, April 20th, 2007 by Alan Cohen in RELAX INTO WEALTH

“Money is not the answer to our prosperity problems. Wisdom is the answer. The only thing more valuable than money is knowing what to do with it. If someone does not know how to use money wisely, no amount of money will help them. If someone has a good money consciousness, they can take a tiny seed and grow it into a lush garden. If they have a poor money consciousness, they can take a huge gift and squander it in short order. Money is not the root of all evil; ignorance is.”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Thursday, April 19th, 2007 by Gregg Braden in THE ISIAH EFFECT

“We choose the conditions of our lives through our feelings, the invisible union of our thoughts and emotions. As we imagine an outcome in our mind’s eye and become aware of the emotion that is fueling our imagination, our feeling is created. To understand what we have created, we are invited to simply look at the world around us.

How are we to create money, relationships, and health if the feelings that empower our creation our “crummy”and “yuck?” Feelings of unworthiness fuel the creation of the very experience we least choose to have in our lives, the expression of not being worthy.”

PONDER on THIS for Wednesday, April 18th, 2007 by Rhonda Byrne in “The Secret”

“To love yourself fully you must focus on a new dimension of You. You must focus on the presence inside of you. Take a moment and sit still. Focus on feeling the life presence inside you. As you focus on the presence within, it will begin to reveal itself to You. It is a feeling of pure love and bliss, and it is perfection. That presence is the perfection of You. That presence is the real you. As you focus on that presence, as you feel, love, and praise that presence, you will love yourself fully, quite possibly for the first time in your life.”

“Best of” PONDER on THIS for Tuesday, April 17th, 2007 by David R. Hawkins in “Power vs. Force”

“The tragic downfall of many geniuses, after they’ve been discovered and celebrated by the public, illustrates that there is success, and then there is Success. The former frequently jeopardizes life, while the latter enhances it. True success enlivens and supports the spirit; it has nothing to do with isolated achievements, but instead relates to being accomplished as a total person, and attaining a lifestyle that benefits not only the individual but everyone around them. Truly successful people’s lives are empowered by the context of their accomplishments.”

PONDER on THIS for Monday, April 16th, 2007 by Karol K. Truman in “Feelings Buried Alive Never Die”

“All too often our conditioning has forces us to turn our feelings and emotions off. Social restrictions often made it inappropriate to say what we truly felt or thought. Rather than learning how to appropriately address our true feelings/emotions we were led to believe that if we turned them off, somehow we wouldn’t hurt inside.

Or, sometimes we were forced to turn them off because the pain of feeling was overwhelming. Consequently, we have paid a high price by supposedly turning them off—by always conforming. The price was that we lost touch with our true feelings. If and when we reconnect with those feelings—we face them head on—our growth and progress will be much better served.”

PONDER on THIS for Friday, April 13, 2007 by Stuart Wilde “The Little Money Bible”

“Do something for yourself every day, something compassionate and kind. I don’t mean buying yourself breakfast; I mean doing something that is spiritually or physically nurturing: a massage, a fast, a meditation, exercise, rest, play—that kind of thing. For it’s in the quiet time that you’ll see the great abundance of this life, and you’ll move from ego’s disquiet to the spirit’s wholeness, and you’ll see that the things you worry about are often not worth the worry. In the quiet time, you’ll see what has real worth for you and what is just fluff and hype.”

PONDER on THIS for Thursday, April 12, 2007 by Alan Cohen “Finding Your Passion”

“Many people ask me, “How can I find my passion in life?” and “How can I know what my purpose is?” The answer is simple, I tell them, but it takes courage and practice:  Tell the impeccable truth (at least to yourself) about how everything you do feels inside. Does it bring your greater peace, or remove it from you? Does it inspire you to live, create, and succeed, or does it drag you down? Are you doing it by choice, or from fear or obligation?

As you recognize your impeccable truth about the “little” decisions in life (which are not so little, after all), you begin to recognize where your inner guidance is pointing you, and as you follow it, you develop a relationship with your inner wisdom. It speaks to you every moment of every day. “Now all that is left,” a brilliant philosopher deduced, “is for you to become yourself.”

PONDER on THIS for Wednesday, April 11, 2007 by Rhonda Byrne of “The Secret”

“Your mind can be like a runaway steam train if you let it. It can take you off to thoughts of the past, and then take you off to thoughts of the future by taking past bad events and projecting those into your future. Those out-of-control thoughts are creating too. When you are aware, you are in the present and you know what you are thinking. You have gained control of your thoughts, and that is where all your power is.

So how do you become more aware? One way is to stop and ask yourself, “What am I thinking now? What am I feeling now?” The moment you ask you are aware, because you have brought your mind back to the present moment.”

Before embarking upon his current career, Jeff served as a self-employed technical writer and marketing consultant in the computer industry for more than nine years. In the fourteen years prior to that he held various marketing positions at Texas Instruments, Amdek Corporation, and Zenith Data Systems, and was also involved in the founding of two technology-based businesses during the early 1990s. It was his experiences in starting these enterprises that first led Jeff to develop a keen interest in the field of personal/spiritual growth. He eventually applied information derived from these books, as well as his own life experiences, to develop an inspirational speaking program for college and graduate students who were interested in becoming entrepreneurs.

It is rooted in the concept that each individual is personally responsible for creating the entire substance of their lives.
