BEST of PONDER on THIS for Monday, October 12th, 2020 by Suzanne Scurlock-Durana in FULL BODY PRESENCE

“Because of life experiences over time that have caused us to stifle or shutdown our own connection to the fullness of life, most of us have to relearn how to access it. We reclaim that connection through an engergetic awareness of the internal landscape of our body, which reveals our inner wisdom. Like an inner compass of deep knowing, our innate cellular intelligence informs us constantly. It is a hunch that something is off in a relationship or a sense or rightness about a project that makes no sense logically yet makes our heart sing. It might be a direction we somehow know we need to take, or it might be someone we instinctively know we should avoid at all costs.

This deep wisdom emerges from all parts of us. Sometimes we will feel an ache in our heart or a tightening of our gut. At other times, we might hear it as a whisper of instruction about a confusing person or situation. Wisdom might come as a memory of an event that reminds us of something we need to learn in this moment. The body’s inner compass of wisdom is always with us – though we don’t always listen or immediately know what it is saying.”

Suzanne Scurlock-Durana, in “Full Body Presence”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Friday, October 9th, 2020 by Karol K. Truman in FEELINGS BURIED ALIVE NEVER DIE

“It’s okay to make a mistake, it’s okay to be wrong, if that’s what we choose to call it. We’ve grown up in a culture that has programmed us to be right for SO long that changing this mind-set may be a frightening and painful adjustment. The reason we may have a difficult adjustment is due to our mind thinking it always has to be right and justified.

Allow yourself to make a mistake. Give yourself permission to be wrong. That’s how we all learn! If we as human beings, could just let go of the unconscious belief that we had to be right and replace that word right with the word correct, maybe the transition would be a little easier to live with. Perhaps the ego wouldn’t be so traumatized at having to give up being right and justified.

“Does it really matter?” would be a good question to ask yourself when you feel the need to be right above all else.”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Thursday, October 8th, 2020 by Don Miguel and Don Jose Ruiz in THE FIFTH AGREEMENT

“Many masters have said that every mind is a world, and it’s true. The world we think we see outside of us is actually inside of us. It’s just images in our imagination. It’s a dream. We are dreaming constantly, and this has been known for centuries, not only in Mexico by the Toltec, but in Greece, in Rome, in India, in Egypt. People all over the world have said, “Life is a dream.” The question is, are we aware of it?

When we aren’t aware that our mind is always dreaming, it’s easy to blame everyone and everything outside of us for all the distortions in our personal dream, for anything that makes us suffer in life. When we become aware that we are living in a dream that we artists are creating, we take a big step in our own evolution because now we can take responsibility for our creation. To realize that our mind is always dreaming gives us the key to changing our dream if we’re not enjoying it.

Who is dreaming the story of your life? You are. If you don’t like your life, if you don’t like what you believe about yourself, you are the only one who can change it. It’s your world; it’s your dream.”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Wednesday, October 7th, 2020 by George Anderson and Andrew Barone in WALKING IN THE GARDEN OF SOULS

“No matter who we are, no matter what we do, and no matter what reason we are sent to the earth to struggle, each of us has meaning. And whether we realize it or not, each of us has incredible value to the world around us and the Infinite Light. The hereafter asks us to try and find that value—not just in each other, but in ourselves. To love ourselves for who we are, and, even sometimes, who we aren’t, is one of the most profound challenges we will face. We grow where we are planted—and use the gifts we have to make that happen…

Stay away from the people on the earth who act like “spiritual vampires,” the ones that tell you that you are worthless unless you are this tall, or this beautiful, or this rich, or this smart…We are all perfect in the eyes of the Infinite Light, and our struggle to come to the hereafter pure of heart and soul will reward us with riches we could never have imagined.”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Tuesday, October 6th, 2020 by Laura Alden Kamm in INTUITIVE WELLNESS

A wonderful movie called Auntie Mame has one of my favorite lines: “Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death.” Life is full of experiences that can remind us to let go of the things keeping us from the banquet table and more fully embrace the love of God. I urge you to let go of the things to which you cling. If you are meant to have something or someone in your life, they will not leave you. People, objects, and situations are woven like the threads of a fabric; the nature of the weaving will determine whether it holds or not. You can mend and patch, but if a tear is meant to be, it will happen. So be at peace with the way people and objects weave through your life.”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Monday, October 5th, 2020 by Pete Koerner in THE BELIEF FORMULA

“It is your subconscious mind which is always operating to create your reality. As such, your subconscious mind is subject to anything it has been fed, for it believes with the faith of a child. It is, in fact your inner child. Since your subconscious has no problems with believing, it manifests everything that you do not manifest through conscious thought, effort, and careful programming of that subconscious aspect of your mind.

By not consciously engaging in the active process of prayer, or affirmative thought, you are not using your power of manifestation. To not use it is to be less than you can be; for what you truly are is a creator and the mechanism of creation is prayer. If your prayer action or conscious thought processes are minimal, and your belief is minimal, then the product of these two variables of creation will be minimal, indeed. The product of these two variables, by the way, is your life and everything you experience as manifest in your life.”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Friday, October 2nd, 2020 by Chérie Carter-Scott in IF LIFE IS A GAME, THESE ARE THE RULES

“Have faith in yourself that you will remember your truth and the knowledge stored deep within your soul. There may be moments in which you cannot see your way clear to your truth – moments of darkness and uncertainty. Life can be difficult, and there may be times when you cannot make sense out of it or stay afloat. These are the moments that require faith.

Faith is the lone candle in the darkness when you feel jettisoned out into space, and the invisible net that lies beneath you when you feel as though you may stumble. It is what carries you through those patches of temporary amnesia. Faith is simply believing, without any tangible proof, that although the truth may seem eclipsed at times, it does not disappear forever. It simply lies dormant inside you until you reconnect with your innate wisdom.”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Thursday, October 1st, 2020 by Jeff Maziarek in SPIRITUALITY SIMPLIFIED

“The reality is that many of us human beings have the tendency to be much harder on ourselves than we are on anyone else. We commonly feel remorseful about things we have said or done in the past, and at times those feelings become so intense that we actually begin to condemn ourselves. The fact is however, that most of the guilt and the feelings of self-condemnation we experience are, in my view, a complete waste of energy, for what’s done is truly done.

The solution is therefore very simple: Learn to forgive yourself just as you forgive others, for you, too, were merely doing the best you knew how to do at that particular time. Equally as important, you need to develop the understanding that whatever did occur needed to happen for you to become the person you are today.

“Easier said than done” you might say, as self-forgiveness is not always a simple task, especially in the case of acts that caused significant pain or distress to other people. Nevertheless, if you aren’t willing to release all of the resentment you feel toward yourself, how can you expect to be forgiven by whomever it is that you harmed?”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Wednesday, September 30th, 2020 by Nan Akasha in ALREADY RICH

“Who is in your mind? Most people are not in their own mind. They let others in and they think based on what others tell them is right for them. They are literally “out” of their mind. This means creating by default. Most people get caught in a loop in the small logical mind and do not take command of their creative mind.

You are not in control of your mind if you are drifting…in fear, worry or some other emotion. Something like 80% or more of our thoughts are unproductive and repetitive. When you are not intentional about your mind, someone else is in your mind choosing for you. When you do not consciously choose what is allowed in your mind and what it looks for, you cannot expect to live in a reality of your choosing. Is that what you really want?

Your mind creates, filters, seeks and interprets. It is your control panel of your life. BE in your mind. How? BE in the present moment! How? Think about your belly button. Really, it will bring you right into the now. Then assess how you feel and what you are thinking about.”

Will Murtha: How can we control and manipulate our thoughts?

Voice of Higher Presence: By realizing that we are all in the driving seat of our own lives. Life cannot do for you that which you do not allow through you. You can spend an entire lifetime believing that you are the helpless victim of your thoughts, emotions and others’ intentions. You can berate every person who shows up in your life, believing that he or she has in some way wronged you. But it will change nothing. For only when you discover that there is something much deeper and more profound going on here will you fully appreciate that you are infinitely more than just your mind.

Once you recognize that you are a co-creator, you will not only take full responsibility of your life actions and everything that shows up, you will also see the divine truth that no part of creation is ever apart from you because it is part of you.”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Monday, September 28th, 2020 by Daphne Rose Kingma in THE TEN THINGS TO DO WHEN YOUR LIFE FALLS APART

“Are you living on a diet of negative thoughts? Make it a spiritual practice to turn every single one of them around. Is it “another rotten foggy day?” Turn it around by thinking: “Itss such a beautiful soft gray day; finally, I can stay inside and get some work done.” Do you live by the hackneyed assumption “it’ll never happen to me?” Turn it around by thinking: “Wow! Who knows what the universe has in store!” The minute you make this shift, the entire universe will start to shiver with excitement, and changes you can hardly imagine will start to occur.

That’s because when we change the way we talk to ourselves, we change the energy in our bodies (and also in the vibrational field around us). I’ve often said that prayer is a change of attitude in every cell, and we now know that, even on a scientific level, this turns out to be true. When you cry out to the universe with a request for change, you have already internally started to create that change by changing your relationship to the problem. Simply uttering the request moves the problem from the Can’t be Changed column to the Miracles Can Happen side of the ledger – because you are saying, on a cellular level: I don’t believe the status quo is eternal. Life is fluid.”

“Some big accomplishments in the eyes of the world signify little in the eyes of Spirit. Yet some small acts in the eyes of the world are great in the eyes of Spirit. Life is not made only of grand gestures, heroic feats, and historic deeds; life is made of little things. The smallest actions can make the biggest difference. There’s no need to wait for a big break or breakthrough. Just do the little things. To make huge strides, take small steps. In sports, relationships, art, or business, success may be waiting for one more day, one last try. A single word can make or break us; a last straw broke the camel’s back; a simple smile or loving touch can heal our world.”

“You don’t need to spend another day living without a purpose. What do you care about? What makes this day special? Remember, your purpose does not have to change the entire world to be worthwhile and give meaning to your day. Purpose is often found in the little things, such as watering plants or creating a garden, which brings life to the world.

Purpose is fulfilled when we share our talents and gifts in the kindnesses we show our family and friends, such as preparing a meal, giving an encouraging word, or listening with compassion and full presence. Purpose can also be about expressing our dearest values on a daily basis. Honesty, generosity, sexual responsibility, integrity, effort, compassion, wisdom, patience, and love are among the values we can bring to the world today through our actions.”

BEST of PONDER on THIS for Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020 by Paul Ferrini in THE SILENCE OF THE HEART

“Be realistic about your experiences here. There is only one person who needs to wake up and that is you. Those who have a gift to give you will not withhold it. Those who withhold information or love from you, have no gift to give. Beware of those who would make you jump through hoops or stand in line. They are just lining their pockets at your expense. Do not tolerate the idea that salvation lies somewhere else. It doesn’t.

Either you hold the key or you don’t. If you do, you must begin to use it. If you don’t, forget spirituality. If someone else has something you don’t, then you and he are doomed together. Better just forget the whole thing and go sailing. In fact, why not go sailing anyway? Why not do whatever brings you joy? Do you really think you will wake up by doing something serious? I assure you, that is out of the question.

Everything you are serious about will be thoroughly abused until you realize the absurdity of holding anything sacred or apart from life. Enlightenment comes with a great big belly laugh, not a knowledgeable sneer.”

“Is it the real you who creates all the drama and suffering in your daily life? Is it the real you who says “Life is a valley of tears, and we come here to suffer?” Is it the real you who judges yourself and punishes yourself, and invites other people to punish you, too? Is it the real you who abuses your body? Is it the real you who doesn’t even like yourself? Is it really the real you who’s dreaming all that?

No, it’s not the real you. You are dead, and that’s the truth. And what is the key to coming back to life? Awareness. When you recover awareness, you resurrect and come back to life. In the Christian tradition, the resurrection day is when the Christ comes back from the dead and shows his divinity to the world. That’s why you are here: to come back from the dead and reclaim your own divinity. It’s time to come back from the world of illusion, the world of lies, and return to your own truth, to your own authenticity. It’s time to unlearn the lies and become the real you. And in order to do that, you need to come back to life, which is truth.”
