“All of us have heard the expression, “You are what you eat.” If a thing is true, there is a way in which it is true. You are what you eat psychologically and spiritually. Thoughts of God, thoughts of love, kindness, optimism, joy, and good will, are the foods of health, joy happiness, and success; if you mentally absorb and digest a bountiful supply of these foods, you will attract and experience all these things in your life.

If you are hateful, envious, jealous, and full of hostility, the physical food you eat may well be transformed into various diseases of a psychosomatic nature. Contrariwise, if you are full of good will and eat the food on the table with joy and thanksgiving, it will transmuted into beauty, vitality, wholesomeness and strength. The bread or meat which you eat, become your flesh and blood after a few hours. This is essentially the meaning of “you are what you eat.”
